Rumor: Tencent Acquires 7 Korean Game Developers

Korean media have reported that Chinese game developer and operator Tencent (0700.HK) has acquired 7 Korean game developers for a total of KRW 18.46 bln (USD 15.03 mln).

The acquired companies are:

1. Studio Hon, for KRW 1.45 bln

2. Reloaded Studios, for KRW 5.5 bln

3. Toppig, for KRW 2.02 bln

4. Nextplay, for KRW 1.5 bln

5. Redduck, for KRW 1.5 bln

6. Eyedentity Games, for KRW 4 bln

7. GH Hope Island, for KRW 2.5 bln
