Foxconn to Begin LCD, PC Production in Wuhan

Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn (2038.HK; 2354.TW) will soon begin manufacturing LCD monitors and desktop computers at its facility in Wuhan, Hubei province, and will recruit at least 28,000 workers. Foxconn is expected to move its entire desktop PC assembly line from Shenzhen to Wuhan, which produces PCs for brands such as HP, Microsoft, and Lenovo (0992.HK).
