Beijing Begins Network Convergence Trial Preparation

Beijing's network convergence trials coordination group has met for the first time, marking the official start of preparation for the trials. The group was established prior to Beijing's application to be a trial city, and has begun drafting implementation plans following Beijing's selection.
The group's office is based in Beijing's Municipal Bureau of Radio, Film and Television (BRFT). Members hail from the leadership of 38 organizations including the Organization and Publicity Departments of the Beijing Municipal Committee of CPC, BRFT, Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Finance, Beijing Communications Administration, and Beijing Guangbo Dianshitai (Beijing Broadcasting Channel), the parent company of Beijing-based Gehua CATV Network (600037.SH). Beijing Mobile, Beijing Telecom and Beijing Unicom have arranged to participate in network convergence trials with Gehua.
