DCCI: 2010 China Online Ad Market to Reach RMB 25 Bln

At the Adworld2010 digital marketing conference in Beijing today, the Data Center of the China Internet (DCCI) released figures predicting that the Chinese online advertising market will total RMB 25.27 bln in value in 2010, accounting for 11.1% of China's overall ad market. DCCI predicts that the online ad market will grow to RMB 42.31 bln in 2012.

In H1 of this year, search ad revenues totaled RMB 4.9 bln; portal ad revenues, RMB 2.34 bln; independent online video and media player site ad revenues, RMB 380 mln; ad network revenues, RMB 1.3 bln; online community ad revenues, RMB 420 mln.
