CCID, 8/11/10

Chinese video site Tudou has announced that it has begun testing user-selectable ads on some of its webpages. The AdSelector format allows users to choose, based on their preferences, which ads to view before the content they selected. Tudou CMO Wang Xiangyun said the new ad system was an innovation developed in partnership between Tudou and global communications firm Publicis Groupe's digital media marketing arm VivaKi.
