SARFT: China Has 65 Mln Cable DTV Users

At the International Communication Office of the CPC Central Committee press conference yesterday, Zhao Shi, deputy party secretary and deputy minister of China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT), said that fourteen provinces have completed province-wide DTV conversion. Over 160 cities and more than 460 county-level cities have completed cable TV digital conversion efforts and total cable DTV users now number over 65 mln nationwide.
