Kevin Li (Li Shanyou), CEO of Shanda Interactive's (Nasdaq: SNDA) online video subsidiary Ku6, has revealed that the website will begin trials of paid accounts next month. Ku6 has made the necessary preparations regarding technology and content, and may use Shanda's payment channels. As for the future prospects for paid video services, Li declined to comment.
