People's Daily Search Engine Goso Begins Recruiting

Goso.cn, the search engine launched by state-owned newspaper People's Daily, has posted recruitment ads on Jinghua.cn, the official website of state-owned newspaper Beijing Evening News. The ads are for over 20 position in four major categories: engineers, product managers, news editors and public relations managers, as well as HR and administrative positions.

Goso.cn currently has a staff of approximately 60, and daily operations are overseen by former IT168.com CEO Gong Yuguo.

The Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is a key strategic partner of Goso.cn.
