Shanda Games Licenses Final Fantasy XIV

Online game developer and operator Shanda Games (Nasdaq: GAME), the online gaming subsidiary of Shanda Interactive (Nasdaq: SNDA), has announced it has obtained the mainland China operating rights to MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV as part of a strategic partnership with Japanese game developer Square Enix. This will be the first release of a Final Fantasy franchise title in mainland China.
