Netease Introduces Email Threading

Chinese internet company Netease (Nasdaq: NTES) today added a "Conversation View" feature to its free Netease Mail webmail product that groups messages and replies from multiple respondents into a single "conversation" thread. The feature is now available in the "Labs" section of all three of Netease Mail's webmail domains; users who wish to add the feature can do so from the "Labs" page after logging in.
The "Conversation View" feature acts on multiple messages with the same subject line, displaying them in a single view, similar to a log of a multiuser chat.
Once a number of messages accumulates in a given thread, the system will automatically hide older messages, instead displaying message summaries. Users can click on the summaries to view the full messages.
