According to industry reports, former COO of Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) Ye Peng will soon join Alibaba Group. No confirmation is available at this time, but an official announcement is expected after the Chinese National Day celebrations in early October. Alibaba personnel made no official comment, but did indicate that further developments will be announced, if and when they occur.
