Qihoo 360 to Submit Code to IT Security Evaluation Center

Chinese online security software developer Qihoo 360 today announced it will submit the source code to its newly-released "360 Privacy Protector" and "360 Koukou Guard" software to the China Information Technology Security Evaluation Center (ITSEC) for evaluation.
Qihoo's 360 Privacy Protector recently revealed that Tencent's (0700.HK) QQ Instant Messenger was scanning documents on users' computers that were not related to its chat services. On October 29, Qihoo 360 released 360 Koukou Guard, which deletes unnecessary documents, blocks plugins and filters popup ads produced by QQ.
