Rumor: Rising Receives VC Funding

Chinese anti-virus software firm Rising will reportedly soon receive funding from Shenzhen-based CDF-Capital's Fukai Fund, according to an industry insider. Though the two companies have signed an agreement, the payment process is still underway. CDF-Capital invested in Rising based on expected future profitability, with profits estimated to be approximately RMB 200 mln this year and approximately RMB 280 mln in 2011. The size of the investment, however, has not been disclosed.
