Socks B2C Site VCotton Launches

Chinese sock B2C e-commerce site VCotton officially launched on November 6. The site is targeted at mid to high-end consumers and sells brand name socks for men, women and children. The site also allows consumers to buy sets of mismatched socks.
Lin Wei, CEO of VCotton, formerly held senior management positions at Kingsoft (3888.HK), 17game, and e-commerce site CoolBid.com. Unverified rumors indicate that Linekong Entertainment CEO Wang Feng, and several other former senior managers of Kingsoft may be shareholders in the company.
