Group Buying Site Kuaikuai6 Wins RMB 10 Mln Funding

Fashion accessory group buy site Kuaikuai6 has obtained RMB 10 mln in first-round funding from a well-known angel investor, according to Kuaikuai6 spokesperson Peng Xiaoqing. The funds will be used for internet promotion, improvements to online and offline customer experience, attracting merchants, and developing sub-sites for first-tier cities in China.

Kuaikuai6 went online at the beginning of June, with the aim of supplying white-collar consumers with group buying services for fashion accessories, including makeup, watches, and bags. The site currently has over 50,000 registered users, a figure which is growing by 20% daily. "Our goal is to break 150,000 members by the start of December," Peng commented. The site currently processes over of 1,000 daily transactions, up from an average of 500 daily transactions in July.
