Coship Signs RMB 30 Mln STB Contract with Harbin Cable

Chinese developer and manufacturer of satellite receivers and cable and terrestrial set-top boxes (STBs) Coship Electronics (002052.SZ) has announced that it has signed a RMB 30 mln STB contract with Harbin Cable TV Network. The contract calls for Coship to primarily supply digital STBs. The contract's total value represents 1.55% of Coship's overall 2009 revenues. Coship is a shareholder in Harbin Cable TV Network, and its initial investment represents 39% of Harbin Cable's registered capital.
