LG Invests RMB 1 Bln to Build TV Plant in Liaoning

LG Electronics (Shenyang) and Shenyang City's Hunnan New District recently held a signing ceremony to celebrate an agreement on the construction of an LG flat-screen TV production base in the district, located in Liaoning Province. The plant will begin production in February 2011, and achieve an annual production capacity of 2.4 mln sets by 2015.
Editor's Note: LG Group will invest RMB 1 bln in the project, which consists of 6 production lines for LCD and LED flat-screen TV sets in Hunnan New District.
