China's 3G Subscribers Reach 62 Mln

Liu Lihua, China's deputy Minister of Industry and Information Technology, recently revealed that as of the end of March 2011, China had 61.9 mln 3G mobile subscribers, including 26.99 mln TD-SCDMA subscribers. China's total telephone subscribers (including fixed-line, mobile, and PHS) reached 1.18 bln, 75.2% of whom were mobile subscribers.
