Ynet.com, 6/07/11

A media spokesperson for China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) parent company, China Mobile Communications Corporation, recently denied reports that the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China had launched a large-scale investigation of China's major telecom operators. The spokesperson said that the disciplinary body's investigation, as far as it involves China Mobile, is focused on a few individuals and the majority of the operator's personnel are unaffected, with operations continuing as normal.
