Shanda Interactive's (Nasdaq: SNDA) online literature subsidiary, Cloudary, has formed content distribution partnerships with a number of companies including Chinese e-reader and handwriting input peripherals manufacturer Hanvon (002362.SZ), Shenzhen-based tablet manufacturer Inmid, Sina (Nasdaq: SINA) Weibo microblogs, document sharing site Docin.com, and Chinese mobile internet portal 3G.cn.
Hanvon e-reader users will have access to content in the Cloudary online bookstore, including content from the Hanvon E-Book Mall (Hwemall.cn), which will be available within the Cloudary bookstore. Users of Inmid's InPad tablet will also gain access to Cloudary content.
Cloudary users will be able to bind their Sina Weibo and Cloudary accounts, allowing them to post comments and recommendations to both platforms simultaneously.
Docin will open a Cloudary channel on its site, as well as an online literature store on the Cloudary platform.
Cloudary and 3G.cn will co-develop mobile literature products, and users will eventually be able to read Cloudary content using 3G.cn's GGBook mobile application.
