Coship Subsidiary Wins RMB 372 Mln Gehua STB Tender

Chinese developer and manufacturer of satellite receivers and cable and terrestrial set-top boxes (STBs) Coship Electronics (002052.SZ) issued a public filing today saying that its wholly owned subsidiary Beijing Coship Times Technology has won a RMB 372 mln HD bi-directional cable DTV STB procurement contract from Beijing-based cable and broadband operator Gehua CATV Network (600037.SH). The purchase volume is equivalent to 16.18% of Coship Times' 2010 operating revenues.

Editor's Note: Coship Times was established in November 2010 with a scope of operations including the development and contract manufacturing of head-end DTV equipment, digital cable reception equipment, terrestrial DTV reception equipment, and other electronics.
