Baidu Launches Mobile App Ad Union

Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) today launched its new Mobile App Ad Union (munion.baidu.com). The Union is primarily aimed at Android platforms, with support for a full range of terminal platforms planned in the future. Baidu Mobile App Ad Union is aimed at mobile application developers, and is currently seeking new apps for the platform, which already offers a number of mobile literature, music, productivity, video, and gaming applications.
Baidu has explained that Mobile Union could be seen as a new move into mobile advertising. The platform currently offers text and banner ads.
