Vancl 2011 Revenue Increases 150% YoY

Chen Nian, chairman and CEO of Chinese B2C clothing website Vancl, revealed yearly performance figures for 2011 yesterday, indicating overall revenue growth of more than 150%, and peak single-day orders of more than 500,000.

Vancl had more than 10 mln paying customers in 2011, Chen said, with more than 80% of recent revenues coming from returning customers.

Vancl sold more than 10 mln self-branded T-shirts, 5 mln pairs of canvas shoes, and a total of more than 70 mln items of clothing and accessories in 2011, and expanded to 28 warehouses around the country.
