3D to Account for 48% of 2012 Flat-Screen TV Demand

China's flat-screen TV demand is estimated to reach 42 mln units in 2012, including 20 mln 3D TV sets accounting for 48% of total demand, according to the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC). CECC deputy secretary Lu Renbo said that current development trends are moving towards glasses-free 3D technology, which is expected to emerge in the China market in H2 2012.
