Suning.com to Establish Independent HQ, Operations

Chinese consumer electronics and home appliances retailer Suning (002024.SZ) has announced that its online e-commerce platform Suning Yigou (Suning.com) will establish its own headquarters and spin off as an independent business unit this year. Suning.com will also expand its staff this year to 3,000 employees, and Suning will transfer over 20 senior managers to Suning.com to provide "fresh blood." Suning.com plans to establish local branches in 12 key cities including Shenzhen this year in order to strengthen local operations and service capabilities.
