360buy to Spend RMB 3.5 Bln on Logistics Systems

Beijing-based B2C e-commerce platform 360Buy announced yesterday that it would invest RMB 3.5 bln in building out its logistics and information systems this year, including purchases of land, real estate, and equipment.
A spokesperson for 360Buy said that the company would not be the only one using its logistics platform, and that it would continue to share the platform with other merchants in the future. After a half-year of trial operations, more than 1,300 companies have made use of 360Buy's logistics platform for more than 4,000 packaging orders. 360Buy is still building the management team for its open logistics platform.
