Apple, D.Phone Partner on Retail Distribution

Chinese mobile phone retailer D.Phone has announced the formation of a strategic partnership with Apple under which D.Phone will open 11 authorized retail outlets for iOS devices throughout the Beijing area. D.Phone outlets authorized to retail iOS devices will set up a dedicated store area for Apple products that will take design, display, and staffing cues from Apple's own stores. Four D.Phone stores have already begun selling iOS devices as part of the first batch of authorized iOS retail stores, and the remaining seven D.Phone stores will complete the necessary remodeling on April 20.
