Alibaba Group to Publish Taobao Statistics on AliCloud Platform

Wang Jian, president of Alibaba Group subsidiary Alibaba Cloud Computing ("AliCloud") and Alibaba Group chief architect, announced today that some statistics from Alibaba's C2C & B2C e-commerce site Taobao could be made public on the AliCloud platform in late 2012. He declined to specify which statistics would be made public, or the manner in which they would be made public.
Wang added that Alibaba has invested a vast amount of funds and resources in the field of cloud computing. Current estimates predict that the platform will break even in the near future.
