Qihoo 360 Announces New Smartphone

Chinese online security software developer Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) and handset vendor Haier have jointly unveiled a new customized "Haier Super Battleship" smartphone W910 priced at RMB 1,888. The handset comes equipped with a 28nm Qualcomm 8260A 1.5GHz processor and a 4.5-inch Corning Gorilla Glass touchscreen. The handset is water, dirt, and scratch resistant, and features 1.3MP and 8MP cameras capable of 1080p HD video recording. The phone will be released in late July.
