Rumor: Changyou to Establish Console Game Division

Chinese online game developer and operator Changyou (Nasdaq: CYOU), a subsidiary of Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU), reportedly plans to establish a console gaming division. The company has been recruiting a number of console gaming industry veterans, and its first game may be Taiwanese online game developer Softstar Entertainment's Xuanyuan Sword VI. A Changyou representative reached by telephone denied any such division was being created, and declined to comment on the rumors regarding Xuanyuan Sword VI.
