Qihoo 360, Amoi Launch RMB 999 Smartphone

Chinese Internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) and Xiamen-based handset manufacturer Amoi Technology launched the Qihoo 360 self-branded Amoi N820 smartphone today, priced at RMB 999. The first batch of the smartphone will be limited to 20,000 units.

The handset runs on an Android 4.0 OS and comes equipped with a MediaTek dual-core MT6577 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and has a 4.5-inch 540 by 960 pixel touch screen. The phone also features 3 megapixel front facing and 8 megapixel real facing cameras, a 2050 MaH battery, and supports GSM+WCDMA dual SIM and dual standby capabilities.

Qihoo 360 has already released three different self-branded smartphones, the Huawei Shanyao, Alcatel AK47, and the Haier Super Battleship.
