Tencent Registers Thousands of .CN Domain Names

Chinese internet giant Tencent (0700.HK) has acquired thousands of .CN domain names, including five-digit names between 10000.cn and 99999.cn, and six-digit names between 100000.cn and 430581.cn, registered via domain name service provider and registrar DNSPod, which is wholly-owned by Tencent via subsidiary Shenzhen Shiji Kaixuan Technology.
