Qihoo 360 Integrates User Ratings with Search Rankings

Chinese online security software developer Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) has added a "Thumbs Up" button to its 360 Safe Browser that allows users to increase the user rating of a given domain name in Qihoo 360's search engine. The "Thumbs Up Plan" is part of Qihoo 360's online search open platform.

The "Thumbs Up Plan" involves adding a user rating factor to the page rank algorithm used by Qihoo 360's search engine, enabling users to increase the ranking of a website.
