Rumor: 360Buy to Launch Russian Website

According to an article in the Southern Metropolitan News, Beijing-based B2C e-commerce platform 360Buy has partnered with an unknown Russian company to launch an e-commerce site in Russia. 360Buy and its Russian partner began working on the site in 2011 and will launch it under an independent domain name. 360Buy will establish a Russian subsidiary to develop its business in the country and plans to sell "3C" products (Computer, Communication, and Consumer Electronics) through the site. In response to the article, 360Buy stated that the company is "continuing to develop a foreign language site."
