Netsun Toocle: China's Q3 Online Shopping GMV Up 37% YoY

China's Q3 2012 online shopping market gross merchandise volume (GMV) grew 36.9% YoY and 5.7% QoQ to reach RMB 294.3 bln in H1 2012, according to Netsun Toocle's (002095.SZ) China E-Commerce Research Center.

C2C e-commerce market share remained relatively steady, with Taobao accounting for 94.6% of C2C GMV, followed by Tencent's (0700.HK) Paipai with 5.2%, and EachNet with 0.2%.

Regarding B2C e-commerce market share, TMall remained in first place with 46.8% of B2C GMV, followed by 360Buy with 21.5%, and Suning's (002024.SZ) Suning.com with 3.8%. Other ranked B2C sites include Tencent's (0700.HK) QQ Mall, Amazon.cn, Vancl, Gome's (0493.HK) B2C platform Coo8, Dangdang (NYSE: DANG), Tencent's 51buy.com, and Newegg China.
