iPhone 5 Wins Wireless Electronic Equipment Certification

According to the official website of the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) State Radio Regulatory Commission (SRRC), Apple's iPhone 5 received wireless electronic equipment certification on September 27. The iPhone 5 is expected to obtain a network access permit from MIIT in November, clearing the way for the smartphone to launch on the mainland China market.
