Yeepay Launches Mobile Marketing Platform

Beijing Times, 11/08/12

Chinese third-party payment processing platform YeePay recently launched eYouK, a mobile application allowing users to register as members of participating businesses' "clubs" using their Tencent (0700.HK) QQ numbers or mobile phone numbers to enjoy discounts and special offers from the businesses. When users' friends also become members, referring users can receive a commission based on a percentage of their friends' purchases from the businesses. Users will receive the commissions in their eYouK accounts, and can cash out by visiting http://www.eyouk.com.

The new service is available in Beijing, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, and Jinan. Users who use eYouK for electronic payments will have their personal information stored in the site's database, enabling participating businesses to more precisely target their marketing efforts.

A spokesperson for eYouK in Zhengzhou said that the service had first launched in the city in July, and now has around 100 participating businesses.
