Baidu Photo Album App Launches Facial Recognition Search Feature

Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has added facial recognition functionality to its cloud-based Baidu Photo Album platform (http://xiangce.baidu.com/app/). Users can quickly search for images on the platform that feature an individual in an uploaded or selected photo. Baidu Photo Album also supports search for large-scale images, shake to upload, and mobile upload sync, and users can share images with friends via microblog, SMS, and e-mail.
