Export Now Launches China-targeted E-Commerce Export Solution
Export Now, 11/14/12
US-based China-market e-commerce solutions provider Export Now has launched a one-stop e-commerce solution that streamlines the process of exporting to China for US companies through the management of listings on Alibaba Group's e-commerce sites Taobao and TMall.
Export Now's five step e-commerce solution includes: 1. Payment of a startup fee; 2. Completion of a basic online company profile; 3. Development of a product page template; 4. Coordination of shipments by exporters shipped to a West Coast distribution warehouse; and 5. Export Now ships the products to China.
Export Now has signed up a variety of customers prior to launch, including: Feelgoodz Flip Flops, Lion Brand Yarn, Wizard Wall, and Cequent Washdrops.
Editor's Note: Export Now was founded in 2010 by Frank Lavin, former US Ambassador to Singapore, to help US companies handle the logistical hurdles- such as customs clearance, trademark registration, and order fulfillment- that come with selling products in China. The company, based in Akron, Ohio, charges its clients USD 3,000 annually and takes a 20% cut of gross sales to set up a virtual storefront on Alibaba Group’s B2C e-commerce site TMall.
