Changyou Begins OB of Battlefield Online

Chinese online game developer and operator Changyou (Nasdaq: CYOU), a subsidiary of Internet firm Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU), today announced that it began open beta testing of Battlefield Online, the company's first licensed online first-person shooter (FPS) game on November 15, 2012.

Battlefield Online is licensed from Electronic Arts and is a Chinese online game version of the Battlefield franchise. The game allows players to not only compete as small teams in Team Death Match and Capture mode, but also to participate in large-scale combat with up to 100 players in a 50 vs. 50 battlefield.
