Hootsuite Launches Simplified Chinese Version, Supports Renren

Canadian social media dashboard web app Hootsuite recently released a Simplified Chinese localization of its application with support for Beijing-based social networking site operator Renren (NYSE: RENN). Hootsuite users can choose the localization under the Settings and Stats menu. According to Hootsuite, Renren was the most-requested service by users. Among the new features of the Simplified Chinese version of the web app are:
1) Sharing content from Renren to other social networks.
2) Posting status updates, including images, to Renren.
3) Viewing status updates from other Renren users.
4) "Liking," forwarding, and commenting on posts from other Renren users.
Hootsuite quietly released a Traditional Chinese-enabled version of its app in October, along with support for Chinese internet company Sina's (Nasdaq: SINA) Weibo microblogging platform.
