Tencent Senior Executive VP Vic Lee Resigns

Chinese internet giant Tencent (0700.HK) has confirmed that senior executive VP Vic Lee (Li Haixiang) has resigned citing family reasons, and his duties have already been transferred to other personnel.

Lee joined Tencent in 1999 and was one of Tencent's seven senior executive VPs. Lee oversaw the Tencent Soso search business beginning in 2010. When the search business was spun off in May 2012, Lee was assigned to oversee Tencent's innovation and industry trends R&D and investment operations.
