Rumor: IT News Portal Pcpop Begins Major Staff Cuts

Chinese IT news portal PcPop, operated by Telstra-owned Sheng Tuo Media, recently began large-scale layoffs, according to an industry source. All probationary employees have been let go from the editorial department, while all other departments have laid off up to one-third of their staff. Pcpop denied the rumor, stating that it has been making normal staffing changes.
