MIIT Approves iPhone 5 Network Access Permits

The official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA) yesterday announced that both the WCDMA (A1429) and CDMA2000 (A1442) models of the iPhone 5 have received network access permits, and are now approved for sale in mainland China. The permits are valid for three years, expiring on November 29, 2015.
