Kaixin001 Releases Childcare Mobile App

Chinese social networking site Kaixin001 has released a vertically integrated childcare social networking mobile app, "Kaixin Baby." The mobile app and accompanying website are designed to help parents document the growth of their children, while at the same time provide childcare knowledge for new parents.
The new Kaixin Baby app uses a "Growth Tree" feature, which allows parents to document the growth of their children by attaching pictures, text, audio, and video to their child's "Growth Tree" as the child matures. The Kaixin Baby app also serves as a free cloud storage platform for parents to store videos and picture of their children. Parents can use the "Parenting Treasure House" section of the app to purchase diet, health, sleep and other parenting-related products and content.
According to a Kaixin001 spokesperson, the app will add additional search, bookmarking, content recommendation and other features in the future.
