China Digest, Gehua Partner on TV Magazine

China Digest, a magazine produced by Foreign Languages Press and China Report, recently marked its first anniversary by launching an HD TV edition of the magazine in partnership with Beijing-based cable and broadband operator Gehua CATV Network (600037.SH). China Digest and Gehua reached an agreement in November 2012 to release the magazine on Gehua's "magazines on demand" platform.
China Digest debuted as a bilingual iPad magazine on December 12, 2011. The magazine now operates English- and Chinese-language versions of its website, and has offerings covering Android and iOS tablet computers and smartphones. The iPad edition of the magazine has been downloaded more than 60,000 times to date, split evenly between the Chinese- and English-language editions of the magazine. The English magazine has readers in more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. There are 100,000 users of the iPhone and Android mobile phone edition of the magazine.
