Inspur: Jinan Police Productivity Up 50% with Cloud Platform

In an interview with Tencent Tech, Wang Hongli, VP of Information at computer and telecom equipment manufacturer Inspur Group, expounded upon the increase in efficiency the Jinan police department has seen after implementing Inspur cloud services and hardware. According to Wang, through the establishment of the new "Public Security Cloud Computing Center," Inspur has been able to reduce the original 154 application systems and 3 bln pieces of data contained in the Jinan police department's services by 50%, increasing productivity by 50%-60%.
The principal hardware in the Jinan Public Security Cloud Computing Center is Inspur's recently released "Yunhai" large-scale data management platform.
