Group Buy Jumei to Open Offline Stores

Chinese cosmetics vertical group buy site Jumei has announced that it will soon open its first flagship offline retail store in Beijing. Jumei will hold a 50%-off sale on the day of the store's opening to attract customers.
According to Jumei CEO Leo Chen, the company will work with a number of cosmetics brands in the coming year to open Jumei offline retail stores nation-wide. The company plans to launch a direct delivery service in the US in 2013.
Jumei online sales for the months of November were approximately RMB 300 mln.
