360Buy Cooperates in Supplier Bribery Investigation

Beijing-based B2C e-commerce platform 360Buy has announced it is cooperating with law enforcement authorities in the investigation of alleged corruption by its purchasing employees. In an official statement, 360Buy said it has a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and other forms of corruption committed by its employees, and is enhancing its internal anti-fraud prevention and control mechanisms.

Earlier reports revealed that a 360Buy procurement agent surnamed Zhou had been arrested by the police on charges of accepting several million RMB in bribes from suppliers.
