Netease Officially Launches Online Dating Site "Huatian"

Netease (Nasdaq: NTES) has officially launched its "Huatian" high-end dating site nation-wide in China.
According to the site, 77% of Huatian users have at least a bachelor's degree and 62% of users have a monthly income of RMB 6,000 or more. 3/4 of Huatian applicants were rejected for not meeting site requirements to open a membership. Huatian users currently number under 10,000.
In January, Hunan Satellite TV and Huatian will jointly launch a new dating competition show.
